When I was admitted to the hospital, all the rooms were full. I was given a smaller room in the ASU wing. When I got to my room I was instantly greeted by a very happy and kind nurse, Janelle. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and had the best bedside manner of any nurse I have ever come across. You have an incredible young lady on your nursing staff. I was very scared and nervous because I wasn't able to breathe, but Janelle was very empathetic, caring, and all around wonderful!
When my heart rate would go up, she was in my room in a flash telling me to breathe in and out, and just made everything so much better. She went into detail about what medications she was giving to me and what they did for me. She always came in to see if I needed anything and was cheerful all of the time. I cannot put into words how much Janelle means to me, and my daughter.
My daughter is 19 and has epilepsy and Chiari malformation, and had to spend 2 nights with me. Janelle made her feel so loved and special, and she had an instant bond with her. To make me feel special, and my child too shows what a beautiful, kind and compassionate soul Janelle is. This world and hospital are blessed beyond measure to have her! My daughter and I are abundantly blessed to call her our friend. We love you, Janelle! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
