Janet was very empathetic to the situation we were going through. In addition, she would take the time to answer any and all of our questions (even the same one multiple times). She was very adamant about following all of the guidelines to keep me safe and ensure I was being given the correct medications, PT, time to rest, etc.

In one scenario, we thought things were looking up, however my blood pressure was out of control, even with medication. She thought she knew what I needed, validated with the doctor, and her guess was correct. She immediately started the treatment, and it worked!

She also made an effort to get to know us on a personal level. She was always calm, made jokes, and truly was the shining light during a very tough five-day hospital stay. Anyone else who gets to have Janet as their nurse is very lucky!
