Janet is known by most of the community members and their children as she starts working with the new moms to be when they first become aware that they are pregnant through the first several years of their child's life. She goes to the hospital to see how mom/dad and baby are doing, makes several home visits as well as seeing them at her clinic. Her sweet smile and kind voice helps them though the trials of being a new parent as well as being established parent. She is the encouraging voice on the other end of the phone or in her office. She teams with the rest of the healthcare community to help the parents get any services they may need.
