Janet has worked at Mercy for more than 43 years. She has functioned as a staff RN, Charge Nurse, Preceptor, Manager, Nurse Recruiter, and most recently as a Nurse Educator. Janet has touched the lives of so many men and women as they enter the doors of Mercy as a new graduate and throughout all of their careers here. A walk around the campus and hospital with Janet demonstrates all the people she has influenced, both within and outside of nursing. She is willing and finds time to assist anyone who asks. She also continues to work with students and faculty for orientation to Mercy. Janet does all of this with the spirit of Mercy in her heart and by role modeling professional nursing behaviors. She believes in Mercy’s mission and demonstrates the Caring Nurse values we espouse. You could not find a more caring or compassionate leader.
