I was a patient in the CCU. I am amazed at how all the nurses at the CCU and ICC go above and beyond their duties to take care of their patients.
Janet was exceptionally great to me by going even more above and beyond. She truly took amazing care of me. She provided extra support by telling me and explaining in detail everything about the heart attack I just had and all about the stent my doctor put in. Janet took her time answering all my concerns and questions from my first day until the day I was discharged.
When she started her shift in the morning she took her time talking about the day's goals and scheduled procedures and what I should expect that day. All at the same time while making sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable.
From the beginning, Janet gave me detailed printouts about the medication I was receiving so I could read up on what was what and other useful information concerning my heart attack.
On my discharge day, Janet came downstairs with me and made sure to talk to my wife and explain to her about what to do and not do and what to look out for my well-being. Especially during COVID-19 and no family members are allowed to be with you it is so important to know that someone has your back and is there for you. Janet certainly did that and always with a big huge smile. THANK YOU!
