Janet epitomizes what nursing as a profession and the Ministry of Healthcare is all about. From the moment that she greets you with her warm smile, you are placed at ease. She listens with interest in what you have to say and gives you information, educating you in a calm, unassuming, and reassuring way. She exudes professionalism, knowledge, confidence, and courtesy, making you comfortable, reducing your concerns, and easing any fears that you may have. Janet did all of these things for me before my test, as well as during it. Her demeanor and confidence and her conversation throughout made the entire experience almost pleasurable. In addition, she was gracious and kind towards my elderly husband in the waiting room, giving him water and a snack. Her compassion is exemplary. All in all, Janet's “customer service” skills, as well as her professional nursing skills and explaining every step along the way, made my morning that day. As a retired associate director of nursing myself, I would hire Janet in a minute. All of her patients are blessed to be under her care, and I commend her. In my humble opinion, Janet deserves to be recognized, acknowledged, and rewarded for her expertise.
