Janet has been at 2/4 of my children's births, the first of the two was in 2016 and was an elective C-section due to our daughter being breech. This was my first major surgery, she kept me calm and informed of everything that was happening around me, we had a healthy baby girl.
More recently (August 2020) we were expecting baby #4, I wanted to attempt a VBAC. Janet supported my decision 100%, she made me aware of all my options. I was induced at 8 days overdue, she spent a very long shift by my side 7 am- 7:30 pm only leaving my side for all of half an hour all day to have a bite to eat. She kept me calm and reassured me when I was scared. She told me I could do it and gave me back the confidence I had lost in myself and my body after my cesarean. My VBAC was successful and our first son after 3 daughters was born.
I truly believe the fact it was successful was because of the care I received and the trust I had in my care provider.
Thank you, Janet!
