Janet Ryan-Ogiba, RN
Janet Ryan-Ogiba, a charge nurse on the Mother-Baby Unit at Oishei Children's Hospital, is celebrating 48 years as a nurse for Kaleida Health. According to her supervisor, Janet is "truly the vision of the DAISY Award. She goes above and beyond for staff, patients, and their families."
According to a nomination from a coworker: "Janet always has a positive outlook, never complains, and always gives 100 percent to her patients. She has a very professional attitude toward patients and staff. If a bed needs to be stripped after a discharge, she will do it, not wait for someone else. She's a great role model for newer staff."
For always advocating for her patients, for pitching in when help is needed, and because she truly demonstrates what it means to lead with CARE, we are pleased to award Janet Ryan-Ogiba this DAISY Award.
