We met Jan last night after a very difficult surgery on our grandmother. She was brought back to the room to slowly pass as the surgery could not be finished. Jan was always very compassionate, soft spoken and caring while we waited through the night. She spoke to our grandmother in such a caring and respectful manner. Grandma made it through the night and Jan saw an opportunity to bathe her in between family leaving/coming and was so compassionate toward her. Jan is an exemplary example of an amazing nurse. I can't imagine caring for those in these situations and their families, and to Jan it was second nature.
