Janet always has a smile and is cheerful at work. She is always professional and a team player. She identifies areas that need to have improvement as in documentation and nursing practice. She works on the Youth Unit and challenges her staff members and herself to giving our troubled youth the best possible care; always being there to talk to them and left them know they are safe and cared about.
On her weekends to work, she may bring in a new game, maybe some treats they can cook or maybe some small craft project to let them know they are special and want something different to do.
Janet is on the Celebration Committee and always has wonderful ideas for staff morale. She was a big part of getting the new employee lounge developed. She creates drawings, makes our party tables look nice and comes up with fun prizes just to keep us wondering what will be next.
She worked at GSH prior to coming to RYH and is always excited to see her coworkers. It might be at a meeting, training, or even shopping somewhere. She is not just an ordinary staff nurse, but an extraordinary leader and a nurse who cares to give good care to our patients.
