Janetta Mason, RN

It is my pleasure and honor to commend Janetta Mason. Janetta has served our organization for 26 and a half years. Throughout this time, she has worn many hats and touched so many lives in the organization. Getting to work alongside Janetta is one of the many pleasures of the job. She is faithful, dedicated, selfless, and most of all an advocate. She advocates for those she cares for with a deep passion to ensure that each patient is treated like they are her own family. It goes beyond just the patients. She advocates for the nursing team and takes them under her wing, educating them when she can.

Personally, I have witnessed her take me under her wing without hesitation and pick me up on the hardest of days. I know that I can always go to her when I am struggling, and she will pick me up with a word of encouragement or tackle whatever task needs to be done right beside me. She has seen us all at our best and worst, but still chooses to face it hand in hand with all of us. I am forever thankful for Janetta, her leadership, and our dedication to all parts of the Saint Mary’s organization.
