July 2012 Honoree
janette laplante, RN
Janette had an elderly patient being transferred to Central Maine Medical Center for evaluation and testing. His wife was here and she did not drive. Janette had at first made arrangements with United for the spouse to travel with them.
However, the spouse was concerned about their animals at home, the needed arrangements, as well as her need for a few “things” for the stay at CMMC. Graciously, after work that day, Janette drove her to their Brownfield home, waited while she got the few chores and arrangements completed, and then drove her to CMMC.
True compassion and concern - - over above the call of the duty!

Thank you, Janette, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
