According to his peers, Jang (James) demonstrates the DAISY criteria every week in the clinical setting. His classmates said that James always asks the staff, peers, and patients if they need any assistance and is constantly rounding on the unit to make sure that everyone 's needs are met.  
The staff has complimented him frequently and the other students view James as one of the leaders of the clinical group.  His clinical instructor noted the following:
Jang Youp works hard to assure that he provides safe, quality care with each patient he encounters. His extraordinary compassion to provide this care has led to patient 's complimenting him and letting his instructor know how great the care he provided was.  
He goes out of his way to help staff and fellow students when he is able. He utilizes any down time to find someone who needs help and assists them, showing himself to be an extraordinary team member.
Jang Youp 's enthusiasm for nursing and learning is refreshing. He consistently arrives early to assure he has the current information on his patient.  
He shares the knowledge he has gained with his fellow students and instructor during pre and post conference.
Jang Youp often asks questions to help him clarify material which is helpful for him and for the other students.
James shows professionalism in his demeanor and in his desire to assure patient safety. His respect for authority and advocacy for his patients is demonstrated weekly.
