I was in the hospital for surgery. Hospitals and medical procedures make me very nervous and anxious so the idea of having to have this done had me upset and on edge. Janice Deklavon recognized my anxiety and I felt like I was taken into surgery with a friend, not a nurse. She made conversation as they were rolling me to the operating room. Once we got into the room, she made every effort to make me comfortable, even offering things I didn't know would make me more comfortable. Right before they put me under, she was holding and rubbing my hand to comfort me as I was unable to take any relaxing drugs before the procedure due to my pregnancy. I can't say enough nice things about her, even in my short experience with her. She made an experience that I walked in so scared about, feel far less threatening and manageable for me. Thank you!
