Janice, I was so appreciative to have you as my pre-op nurse when I arrived for hip replacement surgery. You were a pleasure to talk to, keeping my attention with interesting conversation, and distracting my thoughts from the upcoming surgery. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with you and I never really thought about it until after I was home, how you managed to relate our entire conversation to topics I liked hearing or talking about was amazing.
It was evident how much you enjoy being a nurse. It was also obvious that you take pride in the profession. You were a wealth of knowledge in everything you explained to me, a lot of it I felt like you had taken upon yourself to learn, although the information would not have affected your ability to perform your responsibilities as skillfully as you did. What you were able to accomplish with the extra knowledge was to put me at ease prior to being taken to surgery.
Your knowledge and proficient skills are commendable. I sincerely appreciate and respect the extra efforts it was apparent you took to become exceptional in your profession.
