Janice was my admitting nurse when I arrived on the unit. I came by ambulance and I am a post-liver transplant patient. I was admitted for pain and nausea. I was tired and had severe pain and nausea. Her calming, reassuring manner put my anxiety at ease. She went that extra step to call the doctor and get the immediate orders to make me comfortable. She listened to me, took the time to make sure I felt important and that my needs were met. I am a retired RN and I would proudly work next to Janice any time! She is an asset to this floor. A very caring, dedicated nurse and a role model for all staff members. Her critical thinking skills and professionalism are excellent. She is a positive advocate for her patients. You can tell she loves her job. Having Janice as my nurse made my stay here much easier.
