Janice, an RN on 5 West, was nominated by a patient’s family. J was having a very rough day between his escalated afib, extreme pain, nausea, sadness, etc. Janice stopped what she was doing and totally focused on J.
Direct eye contact, with a sincere smile, soft voice, telling him his feelings were normal giving encouragement. She scheduled a Cancer Therapist to talk with him about what he was feeling. She is always available to answer our questions. Extremely patient & knowledgeable. Having her assist in J's care means so much to our family. We Love Janice!
