Janice Miller, BSN, RN

I recently had a stress echo procedure at Lankenau. I was most apprehensive about the 1.5-hour procedure as I suffer from acute osteoarthritis and am in constant pain. From the moment Janice introduced herself I felt confident I was in good hands. She patiently addressed my concerns, explained the procedure in detail, and answered my questions without ever being condescending in her response.

Janice recognized my physical discomfort and went out of her way to provide pillows, positioning me comfortably to help alleviate the discomfort I was experiencing. I knew I had her full attention and always felts that if there was a problem I was in the best hands. I am most grateful for her compassion and professionalism which enabled me to complete the procedure without incident. As a nurse of 50-plus years, I applaud Janice for her professionalism, knowledge, and her delivery of compassionate care. Lankenau is fortunate to have Janice on their staff and I, as a patient, was fortunate to have her as my nurse.
