We truly believe that without Janice’s encouragement, dedication, and kind words, we wouldn't have been able to navigate through this tragedy.
I was about 24 weeks pregnant when I went into premature labor. I was sent to L&D and told I would stay there until further notice. Unfortunately, about a week and a half later, I gave birth to our beautiful twins. They fought so hard, but the odds were against us, and they ultimately succumbed to their prematurity.

Throughout this difficult time, Janice was there for me and my husband. She took exceptional care of me during and after my C-section, and also made sure to care for L, my husband, offering him support as well. Janice is also the nurse in charge of bereaved parents, and she showed extraordinary compassion for our little angels. She ensured they were cleaned, dressed, and well cared for.

One of the most touching things Janice did was choose a little hat with a butterfly on it for our baby girl, unaware that butterflies have a deep and special significance in my life. When I shared the story with her, she went above and beyond finding a baby blanket with pink and blue butterflies to lay our babies on. Her kindness and thoughtfulness made it easier for us to cope with the heartbreaking loss of our babies. We truly believe that without Janice’s encouragement, dedication, and kind words, we wouldn't have been able to navigate through this tragedy.

The day our baby boy passed away, Janice returned to the hospital to care for him and ensure that our twins were together, dressed, and with us for a few more hours. The world truly needs more nurses like Janice.

Janice, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
