Informatics is a diverse group of nursing professionals representing all of SSM ministries and Janice Schmitz has been there to help Case Management across the system. Her professionalism and knowledge help the Case Management group with a shared vision to achieve the greatest outcomes for our patients.
When presented with questions she always immediately answers or reaches others to find the solution. Janice's leadership not only enhances the image of case managers at SSM but also throughout the community as we connect our organizations with other organizations. This could not be done without Janice's ability to watch where the EPIC tools can enhance our work. I nominated Janice Schmitz for the Nurse Leader Daisy award for her amazing support of the Case Management Group and of the SSM patients who have benefited from her skills. There's nothing more important to recognize than those that dedicate so much to their work and do it with grace!
