Janice has been picking up extra shifts above and beyond her scheduled shifts to help her floor while a fellow co-worker has been out for numerous weeks due to surgery. This amazing nurse continually seeks out opportunities to support her fellow teammates as a leader in the Medical-Surgical Unit. She leads by example, always taking time to teach newer staff, float pool staff, and fellow teammates about any and everything nursing and CCH related. She steps up when her team has a need. Janice is always dependable and a true asset! Janice identified needs during the night shift and asked if she could help for four hour shifts to make sure that the night shift was supported while a regularly scheduled charge nurse was out on FMLA. She has been working as a nurse at CCH for 29 years and she consistently fosters meaningful relationships with her co-workers, patients, and families through displays of support and teamwork. Janice is a wonderful resource for her department and Central Carolina Hospital!
