I have had the pleasure of having Janie as my nurse on several occasions the last few years, and she is without a doubt the most outstanding nurse I have ever had. She is the complete package and has always been 100% professional. She does not compromise her beliefs, integrity or her ethics. She is sympathetic, understanding, caring, helpful, and selfless in her drive to be the best nurse she can be for her patients. She does not hesitate to jump in with both feet, go above and beyond and exceed normal expectations for her position.
On more than one occasion, Janie has hugged me while I cried, laughed with me over something silly, and been empathetic to what I was enduring. She never acted like she didn't want to be bothered. She listened to every question and if she didn't know the answer, she would find the answer before her shift ended. I have never met an RN with the ability, professionalism, empathy, compassion, and knowledge that Janie possesses. I hope HFAH is aware of how truly blessed they are to have Janie as staff. Hands down, she is my favorite nurse and the main reason I continue to return to HFAH. Janie is a shining star.
