January 2016 Honoree
janine kisner, RN, BSN
Janine went above and beyond to help make sure I was ok. I was not feeling well and called to cancel two appointments in a row. She then called to check on me. She didn't like what she heard so she said I needed to go to the Emergency Room. Being stubborn, I told her it would go away. She persisted and asked if [my contact person] knew that she was sick. I told her no, that I didn't want to bother her. She then told me that she would call [my contact person] and I gave in.
She not only followed through on that, but she made sure [my contact person] knew how important it was that I get seen by a doctor. She then came to my room after I was admitted and her shift was over in order to check on me.
Janine is more than a nurse. She is a care giver that makes her patients feel like the most important person in her world.
