Janise Williams, RN

Janise has been a dedicated nurse at the UMC Wellness Center for over 20 years, consistently demonstrating compassion, empathy, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction. She is a strong advocate for our patients and works tirelessly to ensure they feel safe, supported, and respected. Recently, during a patient's mental health crisis in the clinic, Janise remained calm and immediately stepped in to manage the situation, prioritizing the safety of both patients and staff while ensuring the individual received appropriate care. Her quick thinking and decisive actions helped keep the entire clinic safe during a very stressful moment. Janise's calm demeanor, clinical expertise, and unwavering commitment to our patients make her an invaluable member of our team, and we are incredibly proud to have her at the Wellness Center.
