I am a patient admitted to the ICU and was scheduled for an angiogram with a possibility of angioplasty. When it was time for me to be sent to the Cath lab, I got really scared and anxious. Thoughts of what could possibly go wrong while I will be in the Cath lab table come rushing into my mind. Tears fell down my face. I was really distressed, but Nurse Jansi was there. Nurse Jansi offered comfort and reassurance. She helped me calm myself down, and what touched me the most was she said she would pray for me. Nurses can be excellent in knowledge and skills. But it says more when you are a compassionate one. Compassion means a lot to patients. Thank you, Nurse Jansi.
