Jaqueline Alford, RN

I nominate Jackie Alford for the DAISY Award as she exemplifies what it means to go above and beyond for her patients. She listens to her patients and advocates for their needs and what is most important for them. Recently, Jackie had a patient who had a lot of complex medical issues; Her most important request was that she wanted a doughnut. Jackie took it amongst herself to go downstairs to purchase a donut for this patient. This is not the first time I’ve seen Jackie do this. I have seen her take a patient downstairs and outside to get some fresh sunlight and a visit from their fur baby. Jackie always takes the extra steps to make her patients feel valued and cared for. I feel Jackie is deserving of the DAISY Award.
