From a St. Francis Hospital Physician:
Jaqueline went above and beyond her job duties to build a "perineal post" for the fracture table out of parts found in the facilities department. She took initiative to make a post out of parts that allowed us to proceed with surgeries on the holiday weekend. I was planning on sending patient to Harborview without the makeshift post.
From a fellow staff member:
A critical piece of equipment was missing from our fracture table that ensures patient safety. Knowing that we had 2 hips to fix the next day, Jaqueline went down to facilities and had facilities create a piece that would work so we could safely get the surgeries done, otherwise the patients would have had to be transferred to another hospital.
