Recently my mother became very ill and was intubated and in CCU for several days. The first night Jared was our Nurse. You could tell he really thought of my mother as a person instead of a patient lying there on a vent. I was impressed with the care of a new grad, which surprised me. As the next few nights went on he began to talk and ask about her as a person, he wanted to really know who he was caring for. He cared for her and touched her like she was his own grandmother! I found this very refreshing. He came and saw her when she was awake on a different unit so he could meet his patient he cared so much about. Thank You, Jared, for caring for my loved one.
