Jared has been nominated several times in the past and this time received 3 nominations. Jared is recognized by his patients for his professionalism, being “unflappable”, educating his patients in a way they can understand, being calm and focused, and communicates to his patients in a way that they feel valued and important to him. He takes time with families during difficult times, such as when a code status has been changed, to be supportive and present. He has also stayed in after his shift to be with a patient and family during their passing. During the pandemic, he was always willing to work and help however he could, never hesitating to take on caring for the very ill COVID patients.
