My husband was a patient in the ED at Stafford Hospital where Jared Matney was his attending nurse. Jared certainly provided exceptional care but I would like to commend him for his willingness to go above and beyond his normal duties and responsibilities with the focus on us. When it was determined that my husband needed to be transferred to MWH and given the reason for the transfer, Jared made arrangements for me to accompany him in the LifeCare ambulance. Further, he went above and beyond the call of duty and offered to take my car down to MWH when he got off work. He also made sure my car was parked in a convenient spot so when I left later that evening I would be able to easily find it. Upon leaving us at the hospital, Jared told us "it was a pleasure meeting you folks".
