September 2020 Honoree
jared thames, RN
I was recently in the ER for kidney stones and my nurse went above and beyond. Not only did he comfort me, but when he realized how upset I was about someone having to come to get me he offered to talk to them and explain why I couldn't drive myself home. I saw him again at the store and he remembered me and asked how I was feeling and if my situation I was upset about had remedied itself.
I think it says a lot that he sees multiple patients in the ER weekly and he remembered me and our conversation. I am very appreciative of him and how kind he was, especially when I was so nervous being there alone.

Thank you, Jared, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
