Jarrett Walden, RN

Jarrett came from 5 West COVID ICU and now serves as the 3 Central charge nurse. Jarrett always has the most positive attitude that spreads to his peers. Today, Jarrett had to withdraw care for a patient with no family present. He took this patient on as a family member and made sure not to leave her side so she wouldn't be scared or alone as she was actively dying. He brought joy into a sad situation and the patient grabbed his hand for comfort. Jarrett has a true servant's heart, and NMMC as well as the nursing discipline is lucky to have a "Jarrett". Thank you for loving a stranger as your own. This is what it is all about!
