My daughter was in the ER because she was in crisis. Jasmin was working that evening shift, and not only did she care to ask how we both were, but she went out of her way to make sure my daughter was comfortable and not in pain. We were tucked in a small corner of the ER, and a lot of people and patients were passing us by, but Jasmin took a minute or two to notice us and make sure we were all right. We waited for 16 hours and were discharged the following day.

During another admission to the ER, my daughter was in so much pain from her ear infection. Luckily for us, Jasmin was again our nurse. She was very prompt and followed the doctor’s orders to give my daughter some pain relief, and she kept coming back to make sure her pain had decreased.

Jasmin deserves a DAISY Award. She has shown tremendous compassion, coupled with her exemplary nursing skills. She makes Kaiser Healthcare look like a shining star.
