I have a long and complex medical history, including radical cancer treatment when I was very young that has left me with a rare and weakened head and neck area. While much of what I said in the first 24 hours after surgery was adrenaline-fueled chatter, Jasmin Salinas picked out critical information within my history that meant standard procedures would not always apply, no matter how good I may seem, and she tirelessly advocated for me whenever necessary.
