Jasmine Hayzlett, BSN, RN
Jasmine has made us feel very comfortable leaving our 29-week-and-2-day-old baby in the care of the nurses.
She always kept us updated on the changes that were being made and informed us of the “what ifs”. When our baby was out of the incubator while on CPAP, she ensured we understood the possibility of going back in when coming off CPAP and that it was not regression and she would be okay. Jasmine always made sure we got mental breaks and delivered positive affirmations during emotional times.
She has made our stay in the NICU so much easier, as she invested her time to show she genuinely cared about not just our baby but our family. Our families have expressed how blessed we were as a family to have Jasmine as our nurse. Our family from California also expressed how Jasmine made them feel included and saw how much she cared about our baby.
Jasmine is so deserving of a DAISY award. We wish her nothing but the best, as she gave us her all when caring for our baby.
