Jasmine Jeffcoat, RN

Last year, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. Back in 2012, when I had my double mastectomy at Baptist, I had a horrible experience. So, having my surgery this November, I had a lot of anxiety. When I was transferred to my room, I briefly woke up, spoke with my daughter, and the day shift nurse came in for her rounds. Long story short, my pain was not managed correctly, and I went into a shift change feeling extremely uncomfortable and scared because I was in dire pain. Jasmine Jeffcoat was patient and determined to help get me comfortable. There were a few bumps in the road, and I felt bad that she was juggling multiple things. I appreciate her gentle tone and kindness. It was a rough night for me, and that happens. I'm just very grateful for all she did. Great bedside manner, beautiful personality, and fantastic nurse!
