Jasmine Marks, RN, was one of the nurses who cared for our mother at Baptist Health Little Rock in SICU. She worked during the day with dedication and professionalism, providing comfort and support to Mom. She also helped us understand the medical situation and the possible outcomes. She patiently explained things to us, sometimes more than once, until we comprehended. Jasmine showed us compassion and respect during this loss. She not only made our mother as comfortable as possible but also involved her in the medical decisions, honoring our request to let her have a say in her own care. Jasmine called us every day when she started and ended her shift to give us an update. We are grateful for her kindness and care. Jasmine was a source of comfort and support for us in our grief. She showed us kindness, understanding, and compassion when our mother passed away. We are grateful for her presence and care when we had to face taking our mother off of the ventilator. Jasmine helped us restore our trust in the medical field and cope with our loss. We are grateful to Jasmine for demonstrating the kind of love that 1 Corinthians 13 discusses. She is a wonderful nurse who cared for us with compassion and skill. We appreciate her service and dedication.
