I would like to formally recognize and commend an employee who has attended to me on multiple hospitalizations at Retreat Doctors’ Hospital. Her name is Jasmine, she is a nurse on the 5th floor. I have stage V prostate cancer and bladder cancer, so I have had several operations and procedures done at Retreat Doctors’ Hospital. Her compassion for my condition, her jovial attitude, and her attentiveness made me feel very comfortable in my situation. I also have Short Gut Syndrome, so I have an ileostomy bag. It needed to be changed and that is a skill that most nurses fall short of. Jasmine changed mine in very little time and the job was done without a flaw. The other nurses could definitely take lessons from her. She is one of the kindest, most gentle, and most understanding staff that I have ever had attending to my needs. She performed her duties in an exemplary manner. Her dedication, professionalism, and true compassion reflect great credit upon herself, Retreat Doctors’ Hospital, and the HCA Health System. In closing, I would like to thank her for a job well done going way beyond the standard requirements. She truly deserves to be congratulated and commended for a caring and professional job well done.
