I had a C-Section under general anesthesia and I was a nightmare of a patient. "Hysterical mess" would put it almost too lightly. It was the best choice for my delivery, I was beyond terrified and again an awful mess, knowingly a pain to deal with but unable to calm down. I can clearly remember Jasmine never once doing anything but her best to talk me down and just be a truly calming gentle force, though I knew it couldn't be easy having a patient like me. I woke up from surgery and while my first thoughts were on my baby girl and my husband, my second thought was finding a way to say THANK YOU to the woman who ultimately did manage to calm me down and make it through the most terrifying and truly wonderful moment of my life - the birth of my beautiful baby girl.
