It is always me taking my children for their annual check-ups as they are anxious and do not know if they are going to get an injection on this particular visit. My daughter, who is 12 years old, came in for her annual check-up, and our nurse was Jason Aladi. Mr. Aladi was very jovial, welcoming, and supportive. "He was really nice, compassionate, and understanding," my daughter said. The check-in interview was like a conversation between new friends. He made my tween daughter feel free to open up about her health, what was right, and what she was worried about. Mr. Aladi prepared us for the next phase of the visit. We were to see a student doctor and then my daughter's regular PCP. We were prepared and had a great time, all because our functional visit was great. In the end, she had to get her vaccines up-to-date. Mr. Aladi's technique should be taught to all nurses. It was an amazing experience.
