We are proud to nominate Jason Blue for the DAISY Award. Jason’s clinical manager nominated him and says, “he serves his patients with competent and compassionate care, putting families at ease, answering questions and concerns and helping them to smile and find comfort in times of tremendous stress.” Jason’s director says, “Jason is the poster child for the DAISY Award.”

Following are some comments from his patients and some of the reasons Jason is a DAISY Nurse:

I was admitted to the hospital after a skiing accident… Jason Blue was attentive, knowledgeable, and had an exceptional bedside manner that made me feel comfortable and well care for.

Jason was my nurse when I came to the ER. He was great, he took extra time and great care of me – He is a wonderful nurse…

Jason was extremely kind and caring… he explained “why” all the tests and “what” all the meds were for… he had an excellent bedside manner.

Jason represents the epitome of excellence in emergency medicine by providing the highest level of nursing care in the most difficult of situations. His holistic approach and his willingness to give of himself go beyond normal expectations.
