Jason Case, RN
Jason Case had four nominations for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. One of his employees summed up what they all had to say about him:
This leader has run the gauntlet with changes and improvements in the multiple departments that they cover. ICU has not run this well or smoothly since I came on 7yrs ago. I have been here for multiple directors, have worked under numerous directors in different facilities, and feel this person is the most personable, approachable and proactive of the more than 12 directors I have worked under over the 26 years I’ve been an ICU nurse. And I’ve worked for some great ones.
I feel that things have changed for the better in the hospital with Jason at the helm. People willing to come in to help, improved equipment, and vastly improved support from coworkers and our management just go to show how a good leader can improve a workplace.
