Jason was concerned about a new medication ordered on a patient. He suspected the list of allergies was not complete. He called the patient’s guardian and reviewed the past medical history and found that the patient had had a severe allergic reaction in the past. He immediately called the MD and had the medication changed”
This is just one example of how Jason goes above and beyond every day to give his patients excellent care.
I work at Our Lady Of Peace, one of the largest psychiatric hospitals for children in the country. My co-worker, Jason {Jay} Clark is not only an extraordinary RN,
though Jay is 18 years younger and has not been an RN nearly as long as have I, he has taught me volumes about compassion, patience and patients {especially 14-18 year old adolescents}, and love of the field of Nursing. He also taught me, an older paper charting nurse everything I ever needed to know about computer charting, no small task!
Jay is patient to a fault, compassionate, understanding, likeable, loyal, trustworthy, and probably one of the kindest nurses around.
