Jason Cler, RN

I came in very scared by myself as my husband was out of town. First, everything is all new and changed in the ER since I have had to be there. Jason came into the room very friendly and told me step by step, what was going to take place, and to ask any questions that I might have, and I did. Everything from having my blood pressure checked to a blood test being run and the “why’s” behind it. When I received morphine for the pain, he explained how it would help and how soon it would kick in, too! I went down for a test and came back, and Jason was right there for me, making sure I was okay. My parents arrived, and he introduced himself and answered any questions I may have missed. All came back good, and I followed up with the GI doctor with Jason’s full explanation at checkout. We need more nurses like Jason who truly care for the patient and their needs. These are the reasons why he is a DAISY Nurse.
