Jason Mesina, RN

My night nurse is Jason M. on 3 West. This young man has the greatest bedside manner, is kind, caring, compassionate, and just proves to me that there are still great nurses out there. His work ethic is truly remarkable and he deserves literally everything good coming to him and more.

Anytime I have an issue or need something, it's as if a bat signal goes off before I can even press the call light button. He immediately responds, which brings me so much comfort knowing that I'm being heard and taken care of.

Not only am I so grateful for him, but my husband has expressed his as well, as it brings him great relief to know his wife is being well cared for while he takes care of our children. This man needs a raise, a promotion, anything he wants. If I could give him the DAISY Award myself, I would.

Don't let this one get away from you and I hope he never lets the job or patients change who is he is. This man is a true definition of a healthcare hero.
