Like all nurses, Jason Pitkin puts the patient first. What makes him stand out is the compassion he shows not only the patient, but for everyone on the floor. Working as a team is something Jason excels at. He goes about his day very unassuming and without complaining, helping the entire team so that the patient receives the best care available. He watches out for everybody with real concern and compassion. He's always happy and always ready to help. He is often heard asking someone how their day is going, truly caring what the answer is. The OR is a place of unsung heroes where the patients and families rarely remember or know what nurses do for them; Jason is one of those heroes.
