I want to recognize Jason Piyavunno for just being a GREAT leader, nurse, and just a flat-out amazing person. Jason has always gone above and beyond for his team, patients, and Methodist North. Every shift I have ever worked with Jason he has made my job easier and helped put out a lot of potential fires during the shift. No matter what is thrown his way or all the chaos that is going on he just powers through with a smile on. Just yesterday there was an ER ICU hold patient that needed dialysis and ER did not have enough staff to go to with the patient to dialysis, so I asked Jason if anyone would mind staying over a couple of hours that night to go with the patient in dialysis. Jason asked around and no one wanted to stay so he said he would stay over with the patient until dialysis was finished. He is a Nursing Rock star/Super Nurse/Saint or whatever you what to call him, but we are all lucky to work with someone like Jason.
