I wish I had the eloquence of speech to fully explain why Jason Rogers made me feel so special and comfortable when I was recently under his care. All my nurses were excellent, but he rose above them all.
Before I met Jason, I really didn't care for male nurses, but he changed my mind and heart, and I am so grateful. There was no one occasion during the two nights—he just made me feel well cared for. He always came by my door when I was awake, asking if I needed anything. He was always in a good mood, seemed to love what he was doing, was patient and kind. He seemed so proficient and knowledgeable, it appeared that other nurses came to him for advice or help often, so I was surprised to learn he hadn't been an RN for very long.
I am 82-years-old, and this is not my first time in the hospital, but Jason is so special to me, and the most memorable nurse I've ever had.
