Javires Colon, BSN, RN

Javires always keeps a cool collected demeanor when working under the constant pressures of a busy ED. Javires is frequently seen as a preceptor for new ED staff and travelers. Javires promotes confidence in these new staff members but corrects issues as she sees them. She can often be seen interacting with patients in a compassionate manner. One patient recently recognized the efforts of not just the ED team but specifically named Javires in a letter to the hospital stating: "I was lucky enough to be a patient in the ER... and be taken care of by two lovely nurses (Javires). You are a credit to the health care system!"
