During the whole process, Jay was involved in my care and was very kind, very concerned, and had a great bedside manner.
I went to the emergency room for extreme back pain from an accident I had while mowing. When I was taken to the back of the ER I was informed that my nurse would be Jay. From the moment that Jay stepped in the room, he was polite courteous, asked if I needed anything, and asked what he could do to make my time in the emergency room much better. The doctor came in and asked what was going on and asked what happened. Went above and beyond what was necessary but was really caring has a great bedside manner and he was able to try and get my pain at least manageable. Right away he ordered x-rays and ordered pain medication as well as a non-steroid anti-inflammatory. During the whole process, Jay was involved in my care and was very kind, very concerned, and had a great bedside manner. He gave me both of the pain medicines and the non-steroid anti-inflammatory medicine to where I could try to get some pain relief. He came back in and checked on me asked if he could get me anything. When I asked for a blanket because I was cold, he went and got me 2. When he came back he again asked if there was anything else he could do. I asked if I could either get a couple of blankets to roll up under my head or to get a pillow. Jay brought me a pillow.
Anytime I am at the emergency room and Jay is my nurse he always goes above and beyond his job duties. He’s very polite, very caring, and understanding. He has a great bedside manner and he is one of those nurses who actually truly cares about the patient that he is taking care of. He loves his job and he does not like seeing his patients in pain or hurt and he does everything he can to try and make them feel better before they leave.
Every time I have ever gone to the emergency room and he is my nurse, he has always treated me the same. Thank you, Jay.
